To Get The Job You Need:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required Minimum 1-year hands-on experience working directly as a Machine Operator using laser, plasma, and/or oxy-fuel cutting tools, machines & equipment in a production setting required Heavy steel and/or heavy metal fabrication experience preferred Demonstrated safe & responsible use of cutting tools, equipment & machinery Ability to read, interpret, and understand technical blueprints, drawings Experience working with materials, including thick black steel Ability to operate overhead hoists, cranes, lifts, or walkways to move heavy/bulky material preferred Continuous Improvement, Lean manufacturing, and/or Six Sigma knowledge preferred Proficientuseofcomputerized work order systems/software Exceptionalattentiontodetailwitha strong safety and quality focus Strong written,verbal,andinterpersonalcommunicationskills Abilitytoworkindependentlyand collaborate as needed in a cross-culturalteam setting Able to stand for an 8-10-hour shift Able to lift up to 50 lbs. How You'll Spend Your Shift Power up, set up, and run machines during your shift Troubleshoot problems as they pop up Perform quality checks on products and parts Do routine adjustments and small repairs Stay safe and keep production goals on target
