Machine Operator l, 1st Shift

We are looking for self-motivated and safety-conscious candidates who would like to join our production team in our Buckeye, AZ location!

New employees can earn 55K in total compensationwhen working at Canam Steel Corp for a 40-50 hour work week. This includes the base rate, shift differential, overtime, retention and production bonuses.

There are additional ways to earn including referral bonuses and mentoring incentives.

• 1:30 PM9 hour shift schedule:

• Thursday Day shift
• 5:00 AM
• 2:30 AMFriday 5:00 AM
• 1:30PMMandatory alternating Saturdays Day shift
• 5:00 AM
• 1:30PM
• Must be able to work all shift schedules

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

● Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures.● Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications.● Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling.● Operate 1 machine (Stud machine, Bridging Stacker, Stacker and Painters).● Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required.● Maintain a clean and organized work area.● Adhere to safety protocols.● Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.● Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to obtain valid crane certification.

• Frequent communication with others to exchange information.

• Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
• Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.

• Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Manufacturing floor with machinery.
• Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold.
• Use of personal protection equipment is required
