Safety Spotter & Buddy in a
Semiconductor Cleanroom Location:
Chandler, Arizona Job Summary:
The Spotter is responsible for ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations within the semiconductor cleanroom. This role involves monitoring and guiding the movement of personnel and equipment, maintaining cleanliness standards, and supporting the cleanroom team in adhering to strict protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Monitoring:
Ensure the safe movement of personnel and equipment within the cleanroom. Act as a guide to prevent collisions and accidents.
Cleanroom Protocols:
Adhere to and enforce cleanroom protocols, including gowning procedures, contamination control, and equipment handling.
Equipment Handling:
Assist in the safe and efficient transport of sensitive semiconductor equipment and materials.
Communication:
Maintain clear and effective communication with cleanroom personnel and supervisors to coordinate activities and address any issues promptly.
Inspection and Reporting:
Regularly inspect the cleanroom environment for compliance with cleanliness and safety standards. Report any deviations or concerns to the Cleanroom Supervisor.
Support Tasks:
Assist with various cleanroom tasks, including material handling, equipment setup, and routine maintenance.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Previous experience in a cleanroom or semiconductor manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
Skills:
  •  Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
  •  Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  •  Ability to work in a controlled environment with minimal supervision.
