Contract Temp-to-Hire Allegiance Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Screw Machine Operator for a premier semiconductor manufacturing facility in Chandler, Arizona. This is a contract temp-to-hire opportunity for a skilled machinist with strong experience setting up, programming, and operating precision screw machines in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with machine setup, programming, troubleshooting, and producing high-precision components while maintaining strict quality standards. Essential Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate screw machines to manufacture precision components Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions Select tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters for production runs Perform machine changeovers and setup adjustments Monitor machine performance and make program or tooling corrections as needed Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions Maintain production records and documentation Perform routine machine maintenance and upkeep Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to support manufacturing objectives Follow all safety procedures and company policies Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience setting up and programming screw machines Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, feeds, and speeds Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications Experience performing quality inspections using precision measuring instruments Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality Experience with Citizen Screw Machines is a huge plus Semiconductor, aerospace, medical device, or other precision manufacturing experience is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Frequent use of hands and arms to operate machinery and measuring equipment Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment Benefits Upon Conversion to Direct Hire Employees who successfully complete the contract period and are hired directly by the company may become eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance (available Day 1 of direct employment) 401(k) with company match Annual Bonus Program Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Apply Today If you have extensive screw machine setup and programming experience and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing semiconductor manufacturer, we'd like to hear from you.
