Glendale, AZ Pay Rate:
$23-$25/hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 4:00

Temp-to-Hire Crane Operator / Material Handler (Scrap Recycling) Madden Industrial Craftsmen , a premier staffing agency, is looking to fill a Crane Operator / Material Handler position with a scrap recycling facility located in the Phoenix area. This role has the potential to become a long-term, full-time opportunity for the right candidate. Job Responsibilities Operate mobile and stationary shear cranes in a scrap recycling environment Safely operate CAT Material Handlers , Liebherr , and Sierra equipment Load, unload, sort, and move scrap materials efficiently and safely Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and procedures Communicate effectively with yard personnel and supervisors to support production goals Requirements 5+ years of crane or heavy equipment operating experience preferred Experience operating material handlers or shear equipment in a recycling, scrap, or industrial environment Strong understanding of jobsite safety and equipment operation Ability to work long shifts and in outdoor conditions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Benefits (Upon Eligibility) Medical Insurance Weekly Pay Long-term employment opportunity with potential for full-time conversion
