Position Overview We're seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Laser Operator / Fabrication Technician to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating a Mazak CNC CO₂ Laser , along with supporting a variety of precision fabrication processes. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, an engineering mindset, and a desire to expand their skills in areas such as CNC tube forming . Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain Mazak CNC CO₂ Laser equipment for precision cutting operations. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy, quality, and efficiency. Operate and set up AMADA press brakes for precision forming. Learn and assist with CNC tube forming and other advanced fabrication technologies. Read and interpret blueprints, aerospace drawings, and technical specifications . Perform quality inspections using standard measurement tools and maintain accurate process documentation. Support continuous improvement initiatives , workflow efficiency, and preventive maintenance efforts. Qualifications 5+ years of hands-on experience in precision fabrication or manufacturing (aerospace experience preferred). Proficiency with Mazak CNC laser systems or similar CO₂ laser cutting equipment. Experience operating AMADA press brakes or equivalent forming machinery. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings . Eagerness to learn new technologies , including CNC tube forming.
