Full Job Description Crate Builder Duties/Responsibilities:
Verify they are using the correct lumber for the crate being built Inspect lumber Use hand and power tools proficiently and safely Assemble panels and crates Cut lumber to the desired dimension Be willing to become forklift certified Prepares lumber for assembly Cut foam to desired dimensions Willingness to adhere to proper safety protocols Some warehouse functions are required like offloading a semi and use of a pallet jack Ability to understand and execute written build instructions/blueprints for crates
Required Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge and experience with nail guns, screw guns, miter saws, measuring tape, panel saw, table saw, angle grinder etc. Basic organization skills would be preferred but not required. Basic computer skills may be needed.
Education and Experience:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 3 -5 years of carpentry, maintenance, or construction experience
Physical Requirements :
