Come join the leader in advanced EV battery technology! ▼ To learn more about what we do, please click the link below ▼ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o52zcPjLkyU Summary A Crew Lead at LG Energy Solution is responsible for overseeing daily battery production operations, supporting safe and efficient manufacturing processes, and leading operators on the production floor. The role focuses on maintaining high-quality lithium-ion battery production while ensuring equipment reliability, process compliance, and team coordination. The Crew Lead serves as the primary point of coordination for production operators during assigned shifts, providing technical guidance, operational leadership, and real-time decision-making support. Responsibilities include monitoring automated production equipment, overseeing process parameters, troubleshooting operational issues, and responding quickly to abnormal conditions to minimize downtime and maintain production targets. Responsibilities Lead daily production operations in a lithium-ion battery manufacturing environment Monitor automated production equipment and process performance Ensure safe operation of manufacturing systems and compliance with safety procedures Coordinate and direct production operators during assigned shifts Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, alarms, and process deviations Support startup, shutdown, and recovery operations for production lines Maintain production efficiency and minimize downtime Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with manufacturing specifications Conduct shift turnovers and communicate operational updates clearly Complete production logs, operational reports, and documentation accurately Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues Train, mentor, and develop operators and new employees Ensure compliance with SOPs and environmental regulations Monitor inventory and production materials to support uninterrupted operations Respond to abnormal operating conditions and initiate corrective actions Perform safety inspections and promote a strong safety culture Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action investigations Coordinate plant activities during maintenance outages and equipment repairs Maintain housekeeping and organization standards throughout the production area Support operational readiness for audits, inspections, and customer requirements Ensure production targets, quality goals, and shift KPIs are achieved Operate and monitor manufacturing control systems Enforce company policies, procedures, and operational standards Promote teamwork, accountability, and effective communication across departments Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Vocational certificate or associate degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience Experience 1 to 3+ years of related work experience Experience with automated manufacturing equipment Experience mentoring and leading people highly desired 1 to 3+ years of previous leadership or Crew Lead (Lead Operator) experience preferred

Developing operators and reinforcing standard work procedures Ability to work night shifts: Including rotating schedules, weekends, and holidays as required to support continuous 24/7 manufacturing operations. Physical Requirements Must be able to properly and regularly utilize required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toed shoes, for periods of up to 12 hours. Must be able to repeatedly perform the following for up to 12 hours: lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; stoop, twist, bend, reach overhead; and sit and/or stand as required.
