Position Overview:
The Extruder Operator sets up, operates, and maintains extrusion equipment to produce high-quality profile components. Working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment, this role ensures products meet dimensional and quality standards while keeping the work area safe, clean, and efficient. The Extruder Operator monitors material flow, adjusts machine settings, and performs basic troubleshooting to reduce downtime and waste. This position also helps maintain inventory accuracy, verifies shipments, and may use hand tools or a grinder to prep items for storage or shipment. Essential Responsibilities and Functions Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of incoming materials; match deliveries against packing slips or bills of lading and report discrepancies (shortages, overages, damages). Prepare and process outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and verifying items according to order specifications; generate shipping documents such as bills of lading and packing slips. Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machinery to produce materials according to product specifications and schedules; adjust machine settings (temperature, speed, pressure) to ensure consistent output and quality. Perform trimming, cutting, packaging, or minor material prep work (including grinding) to ensure products are ready for storage or shipment. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely to load/unload freight, move materials, and support production flow. Involves pallet construction and maintenance, using power tools (nail gun, saw, etc.) Safely operate grinding equipment to break down extrudate into reusable processing materials. Follow all warehouse safety procedures and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep the work environment clean, organized, and in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards. Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety issues immediately to the supervisor or risk management. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Required Skills:
Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to follow directions. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately count and verify materials. Basic understanding of warehouse logistics, shipping procedures, and documentation. Prior experience operating extrusion machinery, preferably in flat trim or rigid PVC product manufacturing. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes. Detail-oriented with a focus on product quality and consistency. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is a plus. Training Provided Compensation and Benefits:

Must be able to stand, walk, and frequently bend, and reach for extended periods throughout the shift. Regular lifting of materials and tools (Up to 80-100lbs.) Exposure to noise, high and low temperature variations, and moving mechanical parts. Visual acuity as needed to read documents, operate machines, and inspect material. Education/Experience/Background High School Diploma/GED is required. Some experience in a related position and environment is preferred. We will train you. Required Certification/Licenses/Training Must be able to pass a drug test and a criminal background check. Work Environment:
Primarily production floor warehouse setting with exposure to industrial machinery. Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection. Collaboration with both production and management teams in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments with fluctuating temperatures. Pay:
