Full Job Description Summary:
The Extrusion Technician is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion machines used in the production of pipe. The ideal candidate has experience in extrusion processes, demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude, and ensures product quality and equipment efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor extrusion machines and related equipment. Ensure products meet quality standards by performing regular inspections and measurements. Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain consistent product output. Perform routine maintenance and report any equipment issues or malfunctions. Record production data accurately, including materials used and quantities produced. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an extrusion operator or in a similar manufacturing role preferred. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work 10 hour shifts #
