Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compounder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and mixing raw materials according to specific formulations and quality standards. This role is crucial in ensuring that all products meet the required specifications for safety and efficacy. The Compounder will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth operations. Duties & Responsibilities (8AM to 5PM-M-F) Will be responsible for complying with cGMP, weighing, documenting, mixing, and producing different formulas (cosmetics, OTC topical products, etc.) This is a physically demanding job with a MUST of being detail-oriented in documenting batch records. Must be Detail oriented and contemporaneous with good penmanship (legibility) in documenting, writing/cross checking RCN #, lot#, ingredient names on pre-weighing sheet and in writing important parameters correctly in batch records and sign on each step of manufacturing procedure (Mixing time, start/end time, rpm, temperatures) Prepare and mix raw materials following established formulas and guidelines. Notify during compounding if any discrepancy in manufacturing batch record. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring cleanliness and functionality. Collaborate with warehouse staff for effective materials handling and inventory management. Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the facility. Able to work with your coworkers in harmony and keep good working positive vibes without any unnecessary gossip created. Comply all the related/trained SOPs in accordance with cGMP (i.e. hairnet, beard net, sleeves). Transfer Bulk in process to holding tanks and weigh them towards reconciliation in bulk. Maintain work area in a clean and neat manner. Inform Quality personnel if the bulk is ready for sampling and clearance to fill. Be able to regularly lift up to 65 pounds. Ensure the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment at all times Perform other duties as assigned. Experience Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred. Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment Knowledge of CGMP regulations and laboratory practices Background in packaging processes or machining is advantageous.
