Duties Operate cherry pickers, reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and other heavy equipment to pick orders with precision. Load and unload shipments efficiently using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklift trucks. Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. Manage order picking tasks accurately within warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring correct items are selected for shipping or inventory. Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials, maintaining safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations, and ensuring a clean workspace. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage solutions, improve workflow, and uphold safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience operating warehouse equipment including reach trucks, lift trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs when necessary. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and order picker operations. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and order accuracy. Previous warehouse experience involving shipping & receiving, heavy lifting, and order picking is highly desirable.
