Fremont, CA About the Role We are seeking a detail‐oriented and reliable CMM Machine Operator to join our production and quality team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring dimensional accuracy, maintaining quality standards, and supporting daily production operations. The ideal candidate is quality‐minded, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities CMM Operation & Measurement Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform precise dimensional inspections. Conduct RA surface measurements and accurately document results. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T symbols, and quality specifications. Assist in troubleshooting measurement discrepancies and reporting non‐conformances. Production & Material Handling Package and vacuum‐seal finished parts according to job specifications. Assist with loading and unloading parts from machines, racks, and work areas. Support production workflow by moving materials and maintaining organized staging areas. 6S & Housekeeping Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following 6S principles. Perform routine housekeeping to keep the area audit‐ready. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience operating a CMM machine (preferred). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T. Basic understanding of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.). Familiarity with RA surface measurement equipment is a plus. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for the duration of the shift. Strong attention to detail, quality‐focused mindset, and reliable work ethic. Willingness to learn, cross‐train, and support production needs. Preferred Skills Experience with PC‐DMIS or similar CMM software. Background in manufacturing, machining, or quality inspection. Understanding of 6S or Lean manufacturing principles.
