Job Description
Conformal Coating Touch Up and Rework Operator Classification:
Non-Exempt Reports to:Production Supervisor Salary Range:
$20.00-$23.00/hour based on experiencePrincipal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect, repair, and manually apply protective coatings to the electronic assemblies (PCBAs) where areas have not been adequately covered by conformal coating
- Apply, repair, or remove conformal coating (acrylic, urethane, silicon, parylene) from restricted areas on PCBAs using precision tools, brushes, and microscopes
Qualifications:
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be able to interpret work instructions
- High attention to detail and high dexterity skills
- Proficiency in manual application techniques (brushing, syringes)
- Ability to identify defects such as bubbles, voids, thin spots under ultraviolet (UV) light
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Knowledge of electronics helpful
