Glidewell Essential Functions :
Leads the daily production of manufacturing work orders in three (3) or more of the following areas: BruxZir Colloidal, BruxZir NOW, BruxZir Press, BruxZir Shade Guide, Composites, Injection Molding, and Obsidian. Interprets inventory levels at various points throughout the process and makes recommendations to management regarding planned production volumes. Schedules production levels for departments under the direction of management. Provides information to management regarding the performance of production related to the team's ability to meet production goals. Documents performance of the team and individual team members and communicates to management. Ensures proper maintenance is performed on essential manufacturing equipment. Coordinates planned downtime for preventive maintenance with maintenance team. Ensures team is following set procedures, current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and the Prismatik Dentalcraft Quality Manual. Participates in and leads daily 6S and Kaizen activities. Monitors process and operator performance using a variety of tools such as hour-by-hour boards, takt time tracking, and other visual management systems. Identifies gaps in actual production versus planned production and proposes solutions to management. Participates in manufacturing engineering efforts to continuously improve manufacturing processes.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Trade School or some college preferred. Minimum five (5) years of manufacturing experience.
Pay Range:
$20.00/hour - $25/hour
