Job Description

Monday - Friday 4 PM - 12:30 AM Job Overview As a Machine Operator, the main responsibility is to ensure that only quality products are packaged and that productivity is met, while following safe practices and company procedures and protocols. You are expected to work cooperatively and communicate with all employees working in your cell. You are also expected to work with and help other employees across the Production Floor as directed. Duties Punch in no more than 5 minutes before shift start and no more than 5 minutes after shift change. Take breaks and lunches following the preset schedule or as directed by the Supervisor. Operate 2 to 3 Machines (Production Lines) as assigned by Supervisor Inspect every part that is produced on the production line and ensure that each part conforms to quality standards outlined in relevant Work Instructions (WI). Immediately alert Lead Op or Production Shift Leader or other relevant personnel upon observation of the first and any subsequent questionable or non-conforming parts. Trimming any excess flash completely and consistently as per relevant standard operating procedures (SOP) Removing part runner with drill or other tools as per relevant SOP Hand wrapping and packaging as per relevant SOP and WI. Supporting "Pack-Out" as per relevant SOP and WI Page 2 of 4

Responsibility of referencing relevant Work Instructions regularly or on an as needed basis. Required to use air drill and small hand tools for inserts and other assembly fixtures and parts. Alert Supervisor immediately if the machine stops producing parts or/any other relevant observations, including any auxiliary equipment malfunction or safety concerns. Count every bad part (rejects) that is produced on your shift using the manual push counter dedicated to the machine (this is reset every shift). Keep working area clean and organized and assist in job turn changeovers. At shift change over, thoroughly clean production lines as assigned by shift supervisor Make additional packaging and DST's to support incoming shift Perform job duties with care and safety. Perform other relevant tasks as requested by relevant personnel. Reports unsafe conditions to the Shift Supervisor for immediate action. Takes personal responsibility for improving Work Performance Notifies Supervisor of Training Needs Accountable for regular and consistent attendance Notify supervisor if unable to attend work or will be tardy for a scheduled shift prior to the start of shift in question Performs additional duties / tasks as assigned by Supervisor or relevant personnel.
Experience Education:
High School diploma/GED or equivalent is required
Experience:
Entry level Must possess communication skills in order to interface with other departments and company personnel.
Pay:
$16.90 - $18.00 per hour
