Tumble Operator Location:
Los Alamitos, CA Shift:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30
PM Pay Rate:
$21.00 - $23.00/hr DOE Seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Mill / Tumble Operator to support aerospace bearing overhaul operations. This role is responsible for operating tumble and milling equipment to improve surface finish, remove contaminants, and prepare rollers and components for inspection while following strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate tumble and vibratory equipment per work instructions and setup cards Process semi-finished and finished rollers to improve finish, tolerances, and cleanliness Handle and move parts carefully to prevent damage during processing Operate wash lines and related cleaning equipment Inspect parts and perform in-process checks using gauges and measuring tools Record production data and maintain accurate documentation Identify and report equipment issues, defects, or abnormal conditions Perform preventative maintenance and support continuous improvement activities Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Assist with training, problem-solving, and process improvements as needed
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Manufacturing, machine shop, or aerospace experience preferred Ability to follow detailed work instructions and setup procedures Comfortable using gauges and inspection tools Mechanically inclined and quality-focused Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person)
Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
