Milling Aviation Manufacturing Full Job Description Retainer Inspector Location:
Los Alamitos, CA Pay Range:
$21•23hr
DOE Shift:
Day Shift (6am-2:30pm)•Monday thru
Friday Responsibilities:
Visual inspection to detect and reject for fatigue, out-of-tolerance pockets, cracked or broken sections of excessive wear. Detect and correcting nicks, dings, and dents using small hand tools such as files and deburring tools. Receiving incoming used parts, identify part number, enter into inventory and enter accompanying data. Drilling and reaming rivet holes to remove plate and cleaning out. Milling retainers. Inspecting flatness and roundness, then correcting any out of specification parts. Determination of material types. Maintaining expendable tooling supplies. Experience using Schenck balancing machines is helpful in this role. Ensure that parts meet customer specifications and meet all FAA requirements. (14 CFR Part 145 Repair Station)
Requirements:
Must be proficient in English (reading and writing) Must possess basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division if necessary.
Aerospace / Aviation
manufacturing and/or R/O background preferred. Visual inspection background preferred.
ITAR Compliant Education:
Minimum of
HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA
is required.
