Responsibilities include machining complex metal components using engine lathes, Bridgeport/manual mills, surface grinders, and drill presses , while maintaining strict dimensional accuracy and production quality. Candidates should have strong experience with tight-tolerance machining, manual setups, cutting tool selection, feeds/speeds optimization, part finishing, and in-process inspection using precision metrology tools. Must be proficient in reading engineering drawings, mechanical blueprints, GD&T callouts, and machining specifications . Experience supporting aerospace, defense, industrial manufacturing, or custom fabrication environments strongly preferred. This role requires a true shop-floor machinist with current manual machining expertise — not CNC-focused production operators.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
