The Production Final Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, installing, and finalizing agricultural equipment to ensure products meet quality, safety, and performance standards prior to shipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Assemble components and subassemblies according to drawings, work instructions, and production schedules
Install final systems including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
Perform final inspections and functional checks to verify quality and compliance with specifications
Identify and correct defects, discrepancies, or assembly issues before product release
Complete production documentation, work orders, and quality records accurately
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition
Support production workflow to meet output and efficiency targets
Follow all company safety policies and Cal/OSHA regulations, including proper use of PPE
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve assembly issues
Maintain regular and reliable attendance and punctuality consistent with the operational needs of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, in accordance with applicable California law
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Authorized to work in the United States.
Support repair work or rework as assigned
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Meet production deadlines and work flexible hours, including occasional overtime
Assist with training new employees as assigned
Comply with all company policies, including California meal and rest period requirements
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or related field preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely
Ability to read and interpret drawings, work orders, and assembly instructions
Basic knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds (heavier with assistance or equipment)
Ability to use tools and perform precise manual tasks
Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and varying shop temperatures
Required use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and protective clothing
