In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality components and products efficiently and safely. - 2:30pm Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and CNC programming equipment.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and maintain strict quality control standards. Program and troubleshoot CNC machinery using Fanuc controls, CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other warehouse equipment; perform materials handling tasks efficiently. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance; identify issues promptly for repair or adjustment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols; support packaging and shipping operations as needed. Experience Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is required, preferably in machining or fabrication environments. Demonstrated proficiency with CNC programming, CAD software such as SolidWorks, and CAM programming tools. Knowledge of mechanical systems, tooling setup, and operation of various manufacturing equipment including stamping presses and CNC machines. Experience reading blueprints accurately and applying GD&T principles for quality assurance. Familiarity with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; ability to operate hand tools safely. Strong understanding of quality control procedures using precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during machining processes. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining safety standards.
