Plating Helper

Job Title:

Plating Helper Job Description We are seeking a motivated individual to assist in the plating department of a large metal finishing facility located in Costa Mesa, CA. This is a first shift position from 6 am to 2:30 pm, where you will work closely with the Operator in our General Plate department. $17 - $18/hr Responsibilities Assist in electrodeposited and electroless plating processes. Support chemical conversion coating and passivation operations. Engage in mechanical cleaning and coating removal tasks. Follow all safety policies and procedures diligently.

Conduct receiving inspection:

counting, visual inspection, and completion of previous operations. Maintain a clean and organized department daily. Process parts in accordance with customer requirements, procedures, work instructions, and job traveler to ensure high quality and part conformity. Complete orders in accordance with the production schedule. Fill out all necessary processing paperwork to ensure 100% quality and on-time delivery for customer orders. Perform in-process inspections to maintain quality standards. Essential Skills Knowledge of plating, coating, electrodeposited, electroless processes. Understanding of conversion coating, passivation, and inspection techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications Openness to training in inspection, plating, chemical conversion coating, passivation, mechanical cleaning, and coating removal. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role is based in Costa Mesa, CA, at a large metal finishing facility. You will work on the first shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm, in a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety and efficiency. The facility maintains a clean and organized atmosphere where teamwork and attention to detail are paramount. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.90 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
