Machine Operator

• Job Description
• We are seeking a machine operators to operate machines equipment used to apply hot compounds over cable. In this role, you will set up machines, select and install the correct tooling, load compounds, and ensure precise temperature and diameter settings for a high-quality finish. You will also perform cleaning and changeovers between jobs and materials.
• Responsibilities
• + Prepare and set up machines, select correct tooling, and load the hopper with the appropriate compound.

+ Configure temperature settings, line speed, and other critical parameters to achieve specified diameter and finish. + Operate and monitor multiple pieces of equipment related to extrusion during full production. + Calculate and verify product diameter and tolerances according to work instructions. + Follow detailed work instructions and standard work to ensure consistent product quality. + Use data to make informed adjustments and maintain operational excellence targets. + Perform routine minor maintenance and escalate issues promptly to minimize downtime. + Adhere to all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and company policies. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area (5S).

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oceanside, CA.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $21.86 - $22.62/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
