Job Description

About the Role Our team is looking for a dedicated Quality Control Line Inspector to join our high-energy contract manufacturing environment. We focus on producing precision-machined components using various plastics and metals for clients in the commercial, defense, and aerospace sectors. You will be responsible for conducting first article, in-process, and final inspections on small to medium-sized parts, all while adhering to the standards of our AS9100 and ISO9001 certified facility. Candidate Qualifications Possess three to seven years of relevant experience within a job shop setting. Demonstrate the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight. Interpret intricate engineering blueprints with ease. Follow detailed work instructions provided through shop travelers. Maintain a sharp focus on precision to ensure the highest quality standards for our products. Utilize knowledge of Geometric Tolerance and True Positioning to improve inspection accuracy. Technical Equipment Proficiency Operate video and optical comparators effectively. Utilize height gages and surface plates for precise measurements. Measure components using calipers and micrometers. Verify specifications using ring and plug thread gages. Use pin gages to ensure hole size accuracy. Review processing certifications for tasks like passivate, plating, anodizing, and heat treat. Apply a fundamental understanding of MIL and AMS standards. Perform basic calibration procedures to support team equipment reliability.
