$17.00•$18.00 per hour

The opportunity:

We have a client in Pittsburg CA that has an immediate need for Assembly Workers. Candidates must have a strong work ethic and be dependable. This position starts on the day shift then may transfers to night shift.

Job Description:

Build and assemble overhead and underground electrical hardware according to specific job numbers and technical drawings. Work on the assembly line to meet daily production targets; tasks often include wiring, putting on brackets, and fitting components together. Manually lift and place small beams or parts onto racks; safely move materials to and from workstations. Inspect finished products for defects and ensure all items meet company and ISO quality standards. Proficiently use hand tools•non-powered, hand-held instruments for assembling, repairing, maintaining, and measuring instruments (e.g., wrenches, drills, and tape measures). Complete required paperwork to track production numbers and maintain records of work completed.

Job Requirements:

Ability to stand for 8+ hours and repetitively lift up to 50 lbs . Experience with hand tools and the ability to read basic technical instructions in English. Strong attendance record is critical; most shifts are day shifts (starting around 6:00 AM). Ability to work independently without constant micromanagement once a "job number" is assigned.
