Role:

BEPC is seeking an Operator I to join our client's site in Sturgis, MI. This role will support the production of high-quality medical devices within a manufacturing environment. The candidate will work under close supervision and may perform a combination of assembly, repair, and testing operations on medical device components and related assemblies. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with small parts, and committed to quality, safety, and documentation standards.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform assembly, repair, and test operations on medical device components and assemblies according to standardized procedures Produce high-quality work while following closely reviewed instructions and established manufacturing processes Maintain accurate and up-to-date job documentation for cell operations and functions Clearly communicate ideas, problems, and solutions to manufacturing leadership in both written and verbal form Follow all safety procedures and use required safety devices during operations Participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives to support production, quality, and profitability goals Maintain accurate records to ensure traveler and quality documentation is complete, parts are traceable, and quality issues can be addressed promptly Demonstrate basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles Support individual and team performance goals in partnership with manufacturing leadership Support divisional initiatives and comply with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with internal teams and external visitors, including tours

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience. Soldering and experience with microscopes or small tools (tweezers, dispensers, calipers) preferred. Basic knowledge of GMP, IPC, and documentation practices is a plus. Must be detail-oriented, able to follow instructions, use basic computer systems, handle small components, prioritize tasks, and communicate effectively. About
