Manufacturing Operator
Description
The Machine Operator will work in a team environment and operate manufacturing equipment. Ability to work, communicate and participate in a fast-changing environment. Must be comfortable with basic computer programs, able to enter data accurately, and follow written instructions. Team members are also expected to share team activities, which include participation in meetings, giving and receiving feedback, sending, and reading e-mail, housekeeping, and safety activities. Job Responsibilities
Machine operation: set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to ensure efficient operation and production of high-quality products.
Position parts, actuate machine controls, and visually check work for properly riveted parts and obvious defects such as incorrect hole size, cracked rivets, stripped threads, or improper alignment.
Quality control: inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, ensuring they meet company standards and specifications.
Report any quality issues or faulty equipment, defective material and/or unusual conditions to the supervisor and assist in implementing corrective actions.
Production support: assist in maintaining an organized and clean production area, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Load materials into machines and ensure an adequate supply throughout the production process.
Record production data, such as quantities, machine performance, and any issues encountered during production.
Safety and compliance: follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Cross training is mandatory.
Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor immediately.
Team collaboration: work closely with other team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
Provide support in other areas of production as needed, including packaging, labeling, and product assembly.
Good computer skills and arithmetic skills are needed
Strong teamwork, leadership, and communication skills are a must
Ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams
Must be a self-starter and possess basic computer skills (Word, and SAP a plus).
Demonstrated skills in attention to detail and accuracy
Skill in verbal and written communication to document and communicate to team.
Ability to recommend and present ideas and solutions to groups at all levels of the organization
Ability to participate in group discussions and offer constructive advice and actions to assist in a team environment
Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
Occasionally must be able to lift 40 lbs. Pull, push, grab, bend, stoop or kneel frequently.
The ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
Clearly and comfortably, view, interpret and process information within department.
Use a computer monitor for extended periods, during normal working hours is required.
Associate Requirements
HS Diploma or GED

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $24.00
60 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
