Bindery Operator

Greenerprinter, a rapidly-expanding online printing company, has an opening for an experienced Bindery Operator (Folding, Saddle Stitching) Operator, whose responsibility will include operating on daily orders and meeting product deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor machine and make adjustments as necessary to ensure proper operation Perform minor repairs and basic troubleshooting Maintain a clean work area Meeting and/or exceeding productivity goals set by the Bindery Manger Setup and operate digital equipment in an efficient, safe, orderly, and quality conscious manner Must complete all work efficiently, accurately and according to schedule

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

2+ years prior bindery experience expected. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all personnel Must be familiar with all warehouse equipment and machinery Must have computer proficiency and knowledge of computerized bindery equipment (cutting, folding, saddle stitching, perfect binding and folding and gluing) Must possess a good eye for detail Accountability and initiative is expected, as well as a "can-do" approach Excellent attendance required
