Salinas, CA Pay:
$18.00/hr
Shift:
Flexible (typically 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM)
Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Coating Process Operator to support seed enhancement production. This role involves coating and pelleting seeds while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform seed coating processes to meet quality requirements Review daily pelleting schedule to ensure materials and setups are ready Verify correct seed and coating specifications before production Clean equipment and seed containers to prevent contamination Weigh and prepare fungicides, colors, and additives following safety procedures Ensure dryer boxes and trays are clean prior to seed transfer
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of production or manufacturing experience preferred Basic math skills (percentages, metric system) Forklift or pallet jack experience (certification a plus) Strong communication skills Basic computer skills preferred Strong attention to detail If you are reliable, safety-focused, and ready to work in a production environment, apply today!
