Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Packaging Mechanic to support and maintain packaging operations within our manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring all packaging equipment runs efficiently, minimizing downtime, and maintaining high-quality production standards. Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate packaging machinery (fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, shrink wrap systems)
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on packaging equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and minimize downtime
• Ensure equipment is running at optimal efficiency and output levels
• Assist with changeovers and line setups for different product runs
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
• Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure smooth operations
• Follow all safety regulations, GMP, and company procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
• 2-5 years of experience in packaging or manufacturing maintenance
• Experience working with automated packaging lines
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Skills & Competencies
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and basic electrical systems
• Ability to read technical manuals and equipment schematics
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Team-oriented with good communication skills Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Standing, bending, and working on equipment for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment Work Schedule Full-time, may include overtime or weekends depending on production needs Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in cosmetics, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Familiarity with GMP and FDA-regulated environments
