Full Job Description Masking Technician Pay Rate:
$20 per hour
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 6:30 AM-3:30
PM Location:
San Diego, CA 92126 Temp-to-hire •Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen Mainly we are looking for hard-working people who can follow instructions and show up consistently and on-time. Someone who has done assembly, circuit board work, or even a manicurist would be a good fit. We can train someone who doesn't have any experience.
Responsibilities:
Part Preparation and Masking (70%) Apply masking materials such as tapes, plugs, caps, lacquers, and other protective coverings to parts according to work instructions and customer specifications. Remove masking materials after processing without damaging finished components. Inspect parts before and after masking to ensure compliance with quality requirements. Identify defects, inconsistencies, or damage and report concerns to supervisors. Handle parts carefully to prevent contamination or damage. Production Support (20%) Read and follow work orders, travelers, and basic technical drawings. Assist with racking, packaging, and material handling as needed. Maintain production schedules and support departmental workflow. Work closely with production, plating, and quality personnel to meet customer deadlines. Safety and Housekeeping (10%) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements. Properly handle materials, chemicals, and equipment in accordance with established procedures. Participate in safety and quality training programs.
Requirements:
Experience with masking, assembly, inspection, or other detail-oriented production work preferred.
