In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of precision machinery to produce high-quality metal components and fabricated parts. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with CNC (Computer Numerical Control) equipment, and experience in fabrication processes such as plasma cutting, laser cutting, and stamping. Your expertise will ensure efficient production workflows, adherence to safety standards, and the delivery of products that meet strict quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC laser cutting machines, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment with precision and safety. Set up and calibrate machinery according to technical specifications and blueprints. Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to ensure accurate fabrication. Utilize hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring instruments for quality inspection and measurement. Perform routine maintenance on machinery such as press brakes, stamping presses, plasma cutters, and welding equipment. Use forklifts and cranes to handle sheet metal, raw materials, or finished components safely within the workspace. Fabricate parts by welding or assembling components following detailed instructions. Conduct quality inspections throughout production using micrometers and other precision tools to verify dimensions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize manufacturing processes. Experience Proven experience operating CNC machinery including laser cutters, milling machines, lathes, or plasma cutters in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of tooling setup, calibration, and maintenance procedures. Familiarity with blueprint reading and GD&T standards for precise fabrication. Hands-on experience with welding techniques and fabrication processes. Knowledge of sheet metal handling, tooling selection, and assembly techniques. Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments effectively. Experience working with forklifts and cranes for material handling is preferred. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments. Understanding of safety standards related to machining operations and equipment use.
