Laser Operator

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator for a direct hire opportunity in Santa Ana, CA with a growing precision manufacturing team. This full-time role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing professional who has strong fiber laser cutting experience, enjoys leading others, and takes pride in producing high-quality metal fabricated parts. The Laser Operator will operate and program fiber laser equipment, support daily production flow, mentor team members, and help ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program fiber laser machines, including Amada and Bystronic equipment, for precision metal fabrication.
• Lead and support laser operators by assigning daily workloads, monitoring production flow, and promoting teamwork.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, travelers, and technical drawings to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Load automatic feeders, prepare machines for production runs, and troubleshoot equipment or process issues.
• Monitor part quality, identify items requiring inspection, and support quality control requirements.
• Update production travelers and ERP system information accurately while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area. Compensation and Benefits

• Pay:

  $26.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience.

  Direct hire.

• Schedule:

  Full-time with overtime available.

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, plus overtime and Saturdays as needed.

• 2nd

Shift:

Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM to 10:30 PM, plus overtime and Saturdays as needed.
