This position supports machine operators with daily production tasks, machine preparation, material handling, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.Schedule:
Day Shift:
Monday through Friday 6am-2:30pm (Potential Saturday overtime available)Swing Shift:
Monday through Friday 2:30pm - 11pm (Potential Saturday OT) Key Responsibilities- Assist the Operator with machine setup, including slotting knives, heads, feed section, print plates, die-cut tooling.
- Help mount printing plates and cutting dies as needed
- Ink machines and assist with adjusting ink properties using approved chemicals
- Clean printing plates and production equipment
- Feed corrugated sheets into the machine
- Remove strapping from corrugated bales
- Lift and move pallets as needed
- Assist with machine cleaning and general housekeeping duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines
Materials & Chemicals Used:
Cold glue, silicone spray, water-based flexographic ink, pH adjuster, antifoam, myer Ameri-clear Qualifications & Requirements- Excellent communication skills required
- Basic math skills required
- Previous machinery or manufacturing experience is a plus
- Must have own steel-toed boots
- Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to safety and detail
