JOB STATEMENT
Preferably a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Racker & Blender I, II or III. Know all tank locations. Must know cellar operations including 1/3rd of Crush to Finished Wine equipment within 1 year. Works on multiple tasks frequently requiring: bending, lifting, climbing, pulling and pushing. Must be in good physical condition; must pass a strength and lifting test.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Must be able to take and carryout direct orders from Cellar Lead, Cellar Supervisors, Assistant Cellar Supervisor and/or Winemakers. Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written. Verify all information on process orders prior to starting any job. Complete all tasks and jobs according to current SOP. Update process orders when transfers begin and are completed. Update all required paperwork including log sheets. There are many different Operator Standard Operating Procedures, and it will be mandatory to learn at least 1/3rd of these procedures. Plus, everchanging as the company grows. Must successfully pass an exam on each procedure when training is deemed sufficient by a supervisor. Operating filter equipment, working on a platform, using D.E. (diatomaceous earth), requires medical clearance and fit testing for wearing an approved respirator. Be able to do limited dump truck and forklift operations to make miscellaneous transfers. Perform any reasonable request by any supervisor. Must have above average attendance. To be considered for advancement to the next level must have an attendance record at or below First Written Warning. Must have demonstrated good performance, attitude and behavior. Must be able to work any shift, weekends and overtime as needed. Assist in training Operator Trainees as assigned.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
Side shield safety glasses, head/ear protection and proper footwear/PPE when in production facility.
HOURS AND WORKDAYS
1st Shift 6:00 a.m.•4:30 p.m.•Monday through Thursday.
