Packaging Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packaging products to meet quality standards and production deadlines. Your mechanical knowledge, familiarity with packaging processes, and warehouse experience will ensure smooth operations on the production floor. Responsibilities Operate packaging machinery and hand tools to assemble, seal, and prepare products for shipment Use forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse Conduct routine inspections of packaging equipment, perform basic maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical issues Follow CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations Measure and verify product quantities using basic math skills to ensure accurate packaging Maintain a clean, organized work area adhering to safety protocols and warehouse procedures Assist in inventory management by accurately recording packaged items and updating logs Experience Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments preferred Familiarity with forklift operation, pallet jacks, hand tools, and basic machining techniques Mechanical knowledge or background in equipment maintenance is a plus Strong understanding of packaging processes within a manufacturing setting Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurement and inventory purposes Prior experience working with CGMP standards is advantageous Warehouse experience including use of hand tools, forklifts, or similar equipment is desirable

Pay:

$20.40 - $23.38 per hour
