Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Injection Operator to join our production team. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic preforms while ensuring production efficiency and quality standards. The Injection Operator will perform visual inspections, troubleshoot minor equipment issues, document production data, and support preventative maintenance to minimize downtime. This position requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Shift:
3rd shift 10pm-6:30am Thursday-Monday (Days off Tuesdays & Wednesdays) Pay rate: $22/hr #
Temecula Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce preforms according to production schedules. Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and identify defects. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and assist with preventative maintenance. Monitor and replenish resin and auxiliary materials during production. Document machine parameters, production data, and scrap reports. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and company policies. Assist with mold changes, packaging, labeling, and general production support. Maintain a clean and safe work environment and communicate production issues with supervisors.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-3 years of manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred. 2 plus yrs Forklift experience Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and stand for extended periods.
