Entry Level Test Technician Job Description Join our Testing Department as a Test Technician where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will assist the quality manager with troubleshooting returned equipment and operate various testing machines. Responsibilities Troubleshoot returned equipment in collaboration with the quality manager. Operate the Button Push Machine at an operational level. Organize and report on steering wheels that have been tested. Connect consoles to the leak test machine to verify air pressure levels inside the unit. Utilize calipers to measure the length of caps to ensure specifications are met. Plug in consoles into a computer, install necessary software, and save and log inventory. Essential Skills Proficiency in troubleshooting technical equipment. Experience as a machine operator. Ability to conduct testing procedures. Understanding of ERP systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with manufacturing processes for steering wheels used in autonomous vehicles. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work primarily during the 1st shift, in a heavy Cantonese-speaking environment. Engage with advanced testing equipment in a hands-on setting. The work involves handling small-scale machinery similar to the size of a coffee maker and requires precision and attention to detail. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Torrance, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
