Luminit Inc. is hiring a Packaging Technician to support the final stages of our optical manufacturing process in Torrance, California—just a short drive from the vibrant Long Beach community. At Luminit, we develop cutting-edge optical and holographic technologies serving global OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers across the Defense, Automotive, Lighting, and Industrial sectors.
What You'll Do:
Package finished optical components according to documented procedures Conduct visual and cosmetic inspections of parts prior to packaging Identify and report defects or product issues to Quality and Production teams Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and traceability for all packaged products Prepare shipments following packaging specifications and handling requirements Record packaging activity in production travelers or ERP systems Coordinate with Shipping and Logistics to support on-time customer deliveries
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and ability to identify cosmetic or visual defects Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures Basic computer skills for documentation or ERP entry Ability to work effectively in a team-based manufacturing environment Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or production environments (preferred) Familiarity with quality control procedures or precision manufacturing industries such as optics, electronics, or medical devices (preferred) Why Join Luminit?
