2nd Shift (Mon - Fri 1:30pm - 10:00pm)
Pay Range:
$18.75 per hour + $1.25 Shift Differential
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary purpose of this position is to prepare and operate the compression equipment according to specifications listed in the batch record.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
(Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following): The Compression Operator is responsible for working safely, following company policy, and Good Manufacturing Practices. The Compression Operator will ensure that he/she works efficiently to minimize overtime while following established priorities within the direction received from management. The Compression Operator must follow formulation instructions as defined by batch records as well as any rework instructions from R D. The Compression Operator is responsible for accurately completing any pertinent information needed on cleaning log and/or batch records. The Compression Operator will also be responsible to make sure that the department is kept in an organized, clean manner. Safely operating a forklift and/or stand-up lift truck. May be assigned other tasks by supervisor or management.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This includes but not limited to following safety, quality, Standard Operating Procedures, cGMP requirements and work instructions within the department. Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification preferred. Bilingual (Spanish) desired. Ability to read and interpret documents in English. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Minimum 3 years of compression experience is preferred.
Pay:
$18.75 - $20.00 per hour
