JOB SUMMARY

Manage day to day activates of final inspection packaging and labeling of a variety of products. The final inspector is responsible for final inspection of job orders documentation.

JOB DUTIES

Verify serial numbers before label is placed in each individual box, matching serial number label with product being packaged. Perform packaging and labeling to final products. Ensure all assembly procedures, final test report, are included in each job package. Maintain files of training records. Identify non-conformance and initiate required documentation. Work with the assembly manager for packaging and labeling product. Following packaging specifications and drawings. Perform first article inspection for laser and labeling. Follow clean room procedures. Perform review of device history records. Completes quality on packaging and labeling in a timely manner. Inform and provide assembly manager list of assembly inventory and supplies at re-order Point Maintain supplies inventory by checking assembly stock to determine inventory level, while anticipating needed supplies. Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Controls all documents and procedures at final inspection. Knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment while performing manufacturing duties. Performs a variety of duties, routine and repetitive. Basic measure skills using a variety of hand tools, such as rules, calipers, and similar items. Computer skills. Good written and oral communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Position requires experience in packaging and labeling medical devices. PC skills such as windows, Microsoft office is required. Ability to read drawings and packaging specifications. Minimal of five years' experience in medical device packaging and labeling.
