Our interior sliding door systems are sold primarily into the healthcare, commercial office, and hospitality markets. They can be sealed for sight and sound privacy along with being ADA compliant. We partner with Division 8 (Commercial Door) distributors across the United States and Canada along with architects and building owners to provide a customized, cost-effective solution. Position Summary The Saw Operator helps ensure that the production floor runs smoothly and efficiently. Complete any and all tasks assigned by the Operations Manager. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Primary Responsibilities Maintain a positive, results-oriented attitude that promotes teamwork with peers, operations, other support functions, and customers. Performing operations such as cutting aluminum extrusions, light CNC machining, and aluminum door assembly while maintaining quality standards. Complete basic maintenance and operator care of equipment to ensure ongoing facility operations. Provide excellent customer service and engagement with team members. Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations, including maintaining a safe and clean work environment. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Follow proper procedures to measure, handle, fabricate, and stage extrusions for packaging. Engage in continuous improvement efforts, examining workflows and providing feedback to current workflow processes to improve efficiency.? Aids and assists the warehouse department by prepping & building hardware sets. Other duties as assigned. Education, Experience & Qualifications Minimum High school diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years or older Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Have experience operating basic power tools and measuring equipment Preferred Valid driver's license 1-2 years experience manufacturing, construction, or related industry experience Knowledge of door and hardware industry Have experience operating a forklift and commercial metal fabrication equipment Skills & Characteristics Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation, and self-discipline Possess a proven attendance record that teammates can count on to effectively serve the company and its customers Have an eye for detail and can differentiate between components to ensure they meet quality standards Like to work with their hands and get satisfaction out of making quality products efficiently Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, complete basic math and measuring, and count, tally and sort items Ability to work both independently and in a team setting Able to set and achieve goals for themselves and equally hold others accountable Continually manages time efficiently, with the capabilities to multi-task and problem solve Consistently focused on doing great work that is highly accurate and demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) Basic use of a computer

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 100 pounds. Work may require standing, bending, lifting, kneeling, climbing, twisting and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
