Autonomous Equipment Field Specialist Rinvio Denver, CO Job Details Contract $115,000 - $125,000 a year 21 hours ago Qualifications Project team coordination Outdoor work Driver's License Sensors Project stakeholder communication Full Job Description Rinvio is hiring an Autonomous Equipment Field Specialist for a travel-based contract role supporting robotic equipment deployments on construction and infrastructure jobsites. This is a strong fit for a hands-on construction technology, heavy equipment, field service, or mechanically minded technician who can work independently in the field while coordinating closely with site and technical teams.
Pay:
Around $120,000/year, based on experience
Location:
Denver, CO area preferred; candidates should live within approximately 30 miles of a major airport
Travel:
Heavy weekly travel to project sites across the U.S.

Responsibilities:
Support deployment and operation of robotic/autonomous equipment in active construction environments Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and adjust field equipment, sensors, electronics, and related systems Work with operators, site leadership, and technical teams to integrate equipment safely into daily operations Document technical issues, field observations, equipment performance, and opportunities for improvement Assist with testing, calibration, repairs, component installation, and preventative maintenance Support scheduled operations that may include nights, long shifts, or changing project conditions Keep tools, vehicles, equipment, and work areas organized, safe, and field-ready Maintain a professional Rinvio presence with project stakeholders
Requirements:
Construction, heavy equipment, field service, machinery, robotics, or industrial equipment background 5+ years of hands-on experience with equipment operation, repair, maintenance, or troubleshooting preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with tools, electronics, sensors, and field diagnostics Ability to communicate clearly with operators, construction teams, and technical support teams Willingness to travel weekly and work in outdoor/construction jobsite conditions Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to lift up to 60 lbs Safety-first mindset, attention to detail, and ability to adapt quickly in the field Fabrication, soldering, hydraulics, electrical, machine control, GPS, or automation experience is a plus Why this role: Strong annual compensation around $120k for qualified field specialists Travel-based opportunity supporting advanced construction equipment Work at the intersection of construction, heavy equipment, and robotics Professional recruiting support from Rinvio Learn more about
