Monday-Friday 6AM-2:30PM Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cannabis Label Machine Operator / Packager to join our production team. This position is primarily responsible for operating and maintaining an automated labeling machine manufactured by LOM Machines, ensuring cannabis products are accurately labeled, compliant with state regulations, and prepared for retail sale. In addition to operating the label machine, the successful candidate will assist with packaging pre-roll products and other cannabis goods, ensuring all items meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements before distribution. Key Responsibilities Preroll Production Accurately weigh cannabis for each preroll (within required tolerance).
Inspect prerolls for quality:
weight, density, appearance, and sealing integrity. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate and monitor an automated LOM Machines label applicator throughout daily production. Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot labeling equipment to ensure efficient operation and accurate label placement. Verify label accuracy, including product information, batch numbers, compliance requirements, and packaging specifications. Conduct routine quality control checks on labeled products. Package labeled pre-rolls and other cannabis products according to company standards and regulatory guidelines. Inspect products for quality, consistency, and proper presentation. Maintain production records and complete required documentation accurately. Keep workstations, equipment, and production areas clean and organized. Follow all company SOPs, safety protocols, and state cannabis compliance regulations. Communicate equipment issues, production concerns, and inventory needs to management. Assist with additional packaging and production tasks as needed. Compliance & METRC Follow all Colorado MED rules related to handling, tracking, and packaging marijuana products. Maintain chain-of-custody integrity during all production tasks. Communicate with management about any discrepancies in METRC or product counts. Quality Control Ensure consistent product quality and presentation. Identify and report any contaminated or substandard material. Follow sanitary, safety, and contamination-prevention procedures. Operational Support Maintain a clean, organized workstation. Assist with inventory management of cones, tubes, labels, and packaging supplies. Follow all SOPs, GMP practices, and safety protocols. Meet daily production quotas while maintaining accuracy and compliance. Qualifications Must be 21+ and able to obtain/maintain a valid Colorado MED badge. Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, production, or machine operation preferred. Experience in the cannabis industry is a plus but not required. Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn automated machinery operation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Must meet all state requirements for employment in the cannabis industry. Skills Excellent attention to detail. Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced production environment. Basic computer and tracking system proficiency (METRC experience is a plus). Work Environment Fast-paced production setting. Exposure to cannabis allergens, odors, and plant material. Required use of PPE depending on task.
