The Role As a Lead Technician, you'll run point on every appointment - prep, execution, and closeout. You'll manage a technician, serve residential and commercial clients, and ensure every customer is thrilled with the results. What You'll Do Prep Look ahead each week at appointments and make sure all necessary materials are on hand and are aware of what the team is walking into. Communicate with customers about timeliness, sending alerts before arriving. Ensure clear communication by discussing job details upon arrival. Is responsible for ensuring the work vehicle is ready for the week and for appointments Execution During the job, Leads oversee and delegate responsibilities and ensure smooth and efficient job progress, preventing bottlenecks. They coordinate with their technician, directing and partnering on tasks like: Clean interior & exterior windows (residential and commercial) Clean window tracks and screens Power wash stone and concrete Soft wash siding, decks, and balconies Clean gutters, solar panels, and roofs Safely lift up to 50lbs of equipment Climb ladders Maintain a clean van by removing trash and debris, organizing inventory, and keeping the exterior shining Manage tasks such as cleaning rags, auditing, and changing out supplies Work outside frequently (in both the cold and heat) Closeout Handle the appointment closeout, including customer interaction. Walk through the completed job with the customer. Discuss what went well and any areas that may not have met standards. Handle payment and gently mention the importance of reviews.
Ownership and Accountability:
The Lead takes ownership of the entire appointment, including any imperfections. Acknowledge that any tech issues trace back to their delegation or communication. Bears the ultimate responsibility for job success and customer satisfaction. Strive to ensure customers are satisfied and willing to leave positive reviews. Maintain quality standards and customer relationships. In summary, the Lead plays a central role in coordinating and overseeing job processes, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining customer satisfaction. Their accountability and communication skills are crucial to our success.
