Candidates must have a good attitude, safety minded, problem solving skills and able to work in a team environment Third shift hours 10:00 pm - 6:30 am
Responsibilities:
. Packing finished goods on the line
- Loading and grinding raw material
- Counting, maintaining, and requesting inventory
- Helping to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Select machine dies
- Reel extruded product into rolls
- Specify lengths and weights of rolls
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Locate defects on extruded products
- Check for conformance to specifications
- Adjust controls as necessary
- Install, connect, test and adjust equipment
- String lines
- Clean tools
- Access areas by climbing polls and ladders
- Start metering pumps
- Activate and adjust extruding machines
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to follow written and verbal processes and procedures
- Ability to read and understand mechanical blue prints
- Mechanical aptitude
- Computer/typing skills
- Math and problem solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Dependable
- Team oriented individual
- You must be able to pass a drug test and background check
- Willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience and/or extrusion skills a plus
