Job Description
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Aerospace Plating Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing aerospace components in accordance with customer and industry specifications while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The selected candidate will be subject to random drug screens, as this a requirement of the FAA guidelines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Process aerospace parts in accordance with provided specifications and work instructions Operate plating equipment and manage multiple plating jobs simultaneously Monitor equipment performance and condition; recommend repairs and maintenance as needed Maintain accurate processing standards and quality requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times Follow all company safety procedures and work safely in a manufacturing environment Lift and handle materials and parts weighing up to 50 pounds Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production status and equipment issues Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required, or a minimum of 2+ years of related plating experience Must be able to speak, read, write, and fully understand English in accordance with FAA guidelines Must be able to pass initial and random drug screening testing per FAA guidelines Ability to multitask and efficiently manage multiple plating operations at one time Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to follow written instructions, specifications, and safety procedures Aerospace, metal finishing, or plating experience preferred Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a manufacturing and chemical processing environment Work Environment This position operates in an aerospace manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to safety, quality, and FAA compliance standards.
