Operator Hands‑On Manufacturing Role | Clean, High‑Tech Facility | Career Growth We are hiring an Operator to join a modern, technology‑driven manufacturing environment where precision, teamwork, and continuous improvement matter. This role offers hands‑on exposure to production operations, machine support, quality inspection, and leadership responsibilities—ideal for candidates with a manufacturing, trades, or machine‑operation background who want to grow their careers. Your work will directly support medical and aerospace applications , giving real meaning and impact to what you produce every day. What You'll Do As an Operator, you'll be involved in both production and floor‑level leadership: Learn and perform all production floor operations in a hands‑on capacity Support machine operation, basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections Assemble and inspect precision components using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions Perform quality checks, including microscope inspection when required Use calipers, micrometers, and measuring tools to verify precise specifications Support staffing needs by training new employees and providing floor coverage Coordinate with Operations to prioritize work orders and meet production demand Track labor hours and production data accurately using company software Maintain strong housekeeping and line‑clearance practices using 5S principles Manage material flow using KANBAN systems Create scrap and efficiency reports using QAD or similar ERP systems Process engineering change orders (ECOs) to improve run times and setups Lead by example in safety, quality, professionalism, and attendance What We're Looking For Manufacturing, machine operation, trades, or production experience Comfortable working with decimals, precise measurements, and measuring tools Ability to read blueprints and schematics Hands‑on experience with assembly, inspection, and machine support Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Safety‑focused mindset with the ability to enforce standards consistently Willingness to work overtime when production demands require it #betheljobs2026 Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danbury, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.40/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
