What we need from you:
Operate roll wrapping equipment to wrap rolls with poly. Use scanners to scan rolls or manually enter them into roll tracking system. Use roll tracking system to generate bundle tags, check to ensure accuracy. Wrap rolls according to customer specifications. Check rolls for quality workmanship, advise supervisor of poor-quality rolls. Clean equipment, maintain a manufacturing area free from debris and dirt, and readies or puts away materials as assigned. Trim and/or cut rolls to smaller sizes or to be baled as required. Keep timely and accurate records. Check roll wrapping supplies and replenish when needed. Review roll labels and check for accuracy. Cut down, re-wrap and re-label rolls/bundles as necessary. Work as a member of the roll wrapping and shipping team to maintain flow of finished product from the machines to the trucks or inventory. Work safely following all safety policies and procedures. Must work well with others and take directions from supervisor.
Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Must be comfortable operating machinery and using cutting knives. Display good communication and interpersonal skills. All candidates must pass pre-employment screening, drug screen, physical and criminal background screening.
Physical demands and Working conditions:
Must be able to lift 50lbs and lift up to 100lbs with assistance. Physical demands include standing for long periods of time, walking, using hands and arms to handle, feel or reach, climb, squat, bend, balance, stoop, knee, crouch, and/or crawl in confined spaces. Exposure to moderate frequent noise and occasional loud noise, dust, heat, cold, dry and damp air.
