Anodizing Operator Description We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Anodizing Operator to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the surface treatment process by performing anodizing operations on motor, medical and aerospace components to ensure corrosion resistance, durability and adherence to strict industry standards. This position requires a thorough understanding of anodizing techniques, precise attention to quality control and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment. As an Anodizing Operator, you will directly contribute to the manufacturing and maintenance of essential parts, supporting the company's commitment to excellence and regulatory compliance. Your expertise will help maintain the longevity and performance of critical components that are vital to both commercial and defense sectors. Candidates must value professionalism, meticulous workmanship, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities
  • Operate anodizing equipment to apply protective coatings on sensitive components according to established procedures and specifications.
  • Conduct cleaning procedures for parts prior to anodizing to ensure optimal surface adherence and finish quality.
  • Monitor and control process parameters such as voltage, temperature and time to guarantee consistency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of anodized components to detect defects or irregularities and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed production records including batch reports and quality control documentation.
  • Strictly adhere to safety guidelines and environmental regulations associated with chemical handling and waste disposal.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to verify that finished products meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements. Requirements
  • Proven experience as an anodizing operator or similar role within the aviation & aerospace industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of anodizing processes, chemicals and equipment operation techniques specific to aerospace standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is a plus.
  • Ability to comprehend work orders and quality control documents accurately.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure high-quality surface finishes and compliance within specifications.
  • Familiarity with health, safety and environmental protocols related to the handling of hazardous materials in anodizing processes.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision.
  • Good communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and report production status.
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
